Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, people-focused Retail Associate to join our Taproom team. In this role, you’ll be the face of Booch—helping customers, managing daily operations, and supporting our events and outreach efforts. If you enjoy working with people, have a passion for health and wellness, and are looking for a welcoming, upbeat workplace, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly and knowledgeable customer service in our Taproom (Thursdays–Saturdays).
- Open and close the store, maintaining a clean and organized space.
- Operate the POS system, handle cash/card transactions, and balance tills.
- Assist with promotional events, demos, and off-site activations as needed.
- Support teammates with day-to-day tasks and maintain clear communication.
- Stay informed about our products to help educate and assist customers.
Qualifications
- Retail or customer service experience (food/beverage industry is a plus).
- Comfortable with basic technology and point-of-sale systems.
- A Booch ambassador; interested in wellness, fermentation, and healthy living.
- Social media filming and photography experience is considered an asset.
- Positive attitude, team player, and strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Safe Food Handling certificate considered an asset, and will be required.

We’re a local Canadian brewery committed to traditional fermentation and vibrant flavor— and we’re seeking a Production Associate to help bring that warmth and quality from batch to bottle to customer.
Position Overview
As a Production Associate, you’ll be deeply involved in the brewing process and hands-on with making our kombucha the best it can be.
Key Responsibilities
- Brew Kombucha: Follow precise fermentation protocols to create consistent, flavorful batches.
- Filter: Process fermented kombucha for clarity and quality before packaging.
- Recipe Execution: Measure ingredients (tea, sugar, flavorings), steep, and brew according to established recipes to deliver our signature taste.
- Production Line Work: Operate canning and bottling line equipment, ensuring tight seals, proper fill, and streamlined throughput.
- Brew Equipment Handling: Work confidently with pumps, hoses, clamps, and other fermentation and transfer apparatus.
- Lift & Move: Handle product, raw materials, or equipment packages of at least 25 lbs, using safe lifting and stacking techniques.
- Use Pallet Jacks: Safely load, unload, and move pallets as needed to support production and storage.
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with brewing or beverage production preferred, but not strictly required—enthusiasm and willingness to learn go a long way.
- Physical readiness to stand, lift, and move throughout the shift. Must safely lift at least 25 lbs and operate pallet jacks.
- Attention to detail – clean, consistent, and quality-driven execution of recipes and production processes.
- Team spirit & initiative – production is a collaborative effort; your reliability and proactivity help everyone succeed.
- Safety-first mindset – handling food/beverage equipment demands diligence, care, and organized operations.

Booch is becoming a comprehensive beverage company, offering more than just kombucha, and we're looking for an operational leader to lead our scale-up journey.
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our daily production and operational efforts. This pivotal role will oversee everything from equipment scaling and production planning to quality assurance and team management as we grow our beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Production Management: Supervise day-to-day operations across brewing, fermentation, packaging, and warehouse processes to ensure consistent output and efficiency.
- Production Planning & Scaling: Develop and execute production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) based on demand forecasts and sales projections.
- Equipment & Facility Oversight: Ensure brewing and packaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and scaled effectively; coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control systems, including sensory panels, microbiological testing, and SOP compliance to uphold product consistency.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Manage raw material procurement, vendor relationships, inventory tracking, and cost control to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to food/beverage safety standards (GMP, HACCP), licensing, sanitation, and health regulations. Knowledge of organic systems preferred.
- Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, mentor, and supervise production staff. Foster a positive, high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Performance Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics (yield, quality, costs, efficiency), producing reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in beverage operations—experience in beer, kombucha, or similar fermented beverage production strongly preferred.
- Leadership experience with production teams in a high-volume setting.
- Proven track record of scaling operations and improving efficiency.
- Solid understanding of QA/QC protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Technical proficiency with production scheduling tools/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Degree in Operations Management, Brewing Science, Food Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
