Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of our QA program to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role works cross-functionally with production, packaging, R&D, and regulatory teams to uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), support audits, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily QA activities, including in-process inspections, product testing, and sanitation verification.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA protocols and SOPs in compliance with CFIA, Health Canada, and HACCP requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Train and support staff on quality standards, documentation, and GMP.
- Monitor production records, batch sheets, and traceability systems.
- Lead internal audits and assist with third-party inspections.
- Collaborate with R&D and operations on new product quality validations.
- Maintain ownership over SOPs and ensure batch records are accurate and complete; hold production teams accountable for adherence.
- Work directly with the organic certification body to maintain certification requirements and documentation.
- Ensure cleaning and sanitation procedures are adequate and regularly monitored.
- Support occasional production activities as required.
- Perform label reviews and develop product specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of QA/QC experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety systems, GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HACCP certification, traceability, and document control systems is a plus.

Position Overview:
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator (New Grad) will play a key role in supporting both the sales and marketing functions of Booch Inc. This entry-level contract position is designed for a recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in brand building, customer engagement, and sales support. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns, support retail sales initiatives, and contribute ideas that help grow Booch’s presence across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, product information sheets, and promotional materials for retail partners.
- Support the sales team with order tracking, account management, and retail execution (planograms, merchandising, promotions).
- Maintain and update the company CRM to ensure accurate customer, lead, and sales pipeline data.
- Take ownership of customer service communications and follow-up to ensure a positive experience with Booch Inc.
- Coordinate all samples for client prospects, influencers, and as required.
Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, email newsletters, and content calendars.
- Support influencer and community outreach programs to build brand awareness and engagement.
- Help coordinate events, trade shows, and brand activations, including logistics and promotional material preparation.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to inform campaigns and innovation.
General Coordination
- Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Maintain databases, marketing assets, and internal sales tools to keep the team organized and efficient.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, reporting, and tracking campaign results.
- Support Booch Inc.’s retail tap room with staffing, training, and stocking as required.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate (within the last 2 years) with a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM systems) is an asset.
- Passion for health, wellness, and functional beverages.
- A self-starter with creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead our daily production and operational efforts. This pivotal role will oversee everything from equipment scaling and production planning to quality assurance and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Production Management: Supervise day-to-day operations across brewing, fermentation, packaging, and warehouse processes to ensure consistent output and efficiency.
- Production Planning & Scaling: Develop and execute production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) based on demand forecasts and sales projections.
- Equipment & Facility Oversight: Ensure brewing and packaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and scaled effectively; coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control systems, including sensory panels, microbiological testing, and SOP compliance to uphold product consistency.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Manage raw material procurement, vendor relationships, inventory tracking, and cost control to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to food/beverage safety standards (GMP, HACCP), licensing, sanitation, and health regulations. Knowledge of organic systems.
- Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, mentor, and supervise production staff. Foster a positive, high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Performance Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics (yield, quality, costs, efficiency), producing reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in beverage operations—experience in beer, kombucha, or similar fermented beverage production strongly preferred.
- Leadership experience with production teams in a high-volume setting.
- Proven track record of scaling operations and improving efficiency.
- Solid understanding of QA/QC protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Technical proficiency with production scheduling tools/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- A degree in Operations Management, Brewing Science, Food Science, or related field — or equivalent experience.
